Earning My GM Rewards Points
My GM Rewards† members earn points on eligible GM products and services purchased either at a participating GM dealer or online.
How It Works
Once enrolled in the My GM Rewards program, you’ll earn points for most things you do with GM. (Visit the My GM Rewards overview page to enroll.) The points will be added to your account within 14 days after earning on eligible GM products and services purchased. There is no limit on how many points you can earn, and all points earned with any GM brand goes toward your points balance.
Earn On Your Purchases with GM
- All members earn 1 point per $5 spent on an eligible, new GM vehicle† purchase or lease.
- Members earn 3 points per $1 spent on eligible paid Certified Service, eligible accessories, GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco parts†, and most OnStar® and Connected Services Plans.†
- All members earn 2,500 points with the purchase of a GM Pre-Owned vehicle at a participating dealer.
- Earn 2,500 points with the purchase of a GM Protection Plan† at a participating dealer.
Earn more with the My GM Rewards Card
Earn additional points with the My GM Rewards Card†. All Cardmembers earn 4 points† per $1 spent on everything, anywhere, and earn 7 total points† per $1 spent on paid GM Certified Service, eligible accessories online and at participating GM dealers, GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco parts, most OnStar® and Connected Services Plans, and more.
Points are awarded to whomever pays for the eligible item (accessories, parts, service), and the name on the Receipt/Repair Order is who earns the points. Cardmembers will earn all points for any authorized users, along with their own purchases.
Yes, Cardmembers earn 4 points per $1 spent on all purchases when using their card. Cardmembers also earn 7 total points per $1 spent on paid Certified Service, eligible accessories, GM Genuine Parts and ACDelco parts and most OnStar® and Connected Services Plans and more.
Silver tier member points expire upon account deactivation or after 5 years of account inactivity. Gold and Platinum tier member points never expire.
Members can monitor their points on their My GM Rewards Dashboard. Access your My GM Rewards dashboard through the myGM App† and My GM website.
Most points will post to a member’s account within 24 hours of the purchase, while some points could take up to 14 days from the purchase. Members can contact the GM Rewards Member Support Center team for any questions regarding their account balance.

Points are awarded to the member of the household that the vehicle is titled to.
