Here’s a big fish story for you. In the frigid month of February, OnStar Member Tanner Ouellette made the eight-hour drive from his home in North Dakota to Selkirk, a small town in Manitoba, Canada. Selkirk is home to 10,000 people, and winter temperatures can plummet to negative 40 degrees. But it’s the trophy fish that brought Tanner across the border.
It was around 5:30 in the morning when Tanner parked his 2016 GMC Sierra Denali HD in front of a fast-food joint to snag a cup of coffee. Five minutes later, his truck was gone. He was stranded without his wallet, passport and fishing gear.
That’s when OnStar
Tanner says it was the most unforgettable weekend of his life.
