Reason #2: Find added peace of mind in an emergency

If you or someone in your vehicle experiences a medical emergency or if you see someone else who needs help, push the red Emergency button for a priority connection to an Advisor who is certified to provide Emergency Medical Dispatch assistance. The Advisor can contact First Responders and provide certain types of medical assistance until help arrives.

Reason #3: Request Roadside Assistance if you need a helping hand

If you need help changing a flat tire, need a tow or are stranded, push the blue OnStar button to request Roadside Assistance. An Advisor can help find and contact the closest available service provider.

The Guardian app, which can be shared with up to seven loved ones,* offers features like Mobile Crash Response and Roadside Assistance* to those in any vehicle. All you have to do to access these services is download the app to your smartphone.
