How do I join GM Rewards?

No matter what you drive, GM Rewards lets you earn points on most purchases with GM.* Becoming a GM Rewards Member only takes a few minutes. Sign up, accept the GM Rewards Program Terms and Conditions, and you’ll be ready to start earning points and enjoying Member perks.

Where and how can I earn GM Rewards points?

Our GM Rewards loyalty program lets you earn points on most GM purchases.* There’s no limit to how many points you can earn, and you can even share them with loved ones and friends who are also GM Rewards Members.*

 
  • Earn 1 point per $5 spent on an eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, or Cadillac vehicle purchase or lease, or on the purchase of a certified CarBravo vehicle.*
  • Earn 3 points per $1 spent on most other GM purchases.*
     

Your points are there when you’re ready to use them. Just remember to earn or redeem points at least once every seven years to keep your account active. 

Where and how can I redeem GM Rewards points?

As a GM Rewards Member, you have the flexibility to use your points where they matter most to you. Redeem them toward your GM Financial or Cadillac Financial account balances;* an eligible, new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, or Cadillac vehicle purchase or lease;* a certified CarBravo vehicle purchase;* your OnStar® plan;* Certified Service;* the GM Company Store and more.


Whether you’re shopping online or visiting a participating Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, or Cadillac dealer, using your points is simple. Log in to My Account to see your current points balance and GM Rewards Member number and discover the ways you can redeem your points through the GM Rewards Dashboard. At a dealer, simply provide the last 4 digits of your GM Rewards Member number.

Do I need to have the GM Rewards credit card to become a GM Rewards Member?

Joining GM Rewards is free, and you don’t need to have the GM Rewards™ Mastercard to be a Member. The added benefit of having this credit card is it accelerates the GM Rewards points you can earn:
 
  • GM Rewards Members earn 1x point for every $5 spent on an eligible, new GM vehicle* and 3x points for every $1 spent on eligible GM purchases.*
  • GM Rewards Cardmembers earn up to 10x points — 7x points on every $1 spent on eligible GM purchases when you use your GM Rewards Mastercard, plus up to 3x points for being a GM Rewards Member.* You’ll also earn 3x points for every $1 spent on all other purchases, like groceries, gas, restaurants, and even travel.
