A productive commute, with Super Cruise

With Super Cruise and voice control assisting Barbara Wrench’s commute, she can arrive at the office ready to go

Before Barbara Wrench got her Cadillac CT6 with available Super Cruise driver assistance technology,* her drive to work was tedious. For Barbara, commuting into Charleston, South Carolina, during rush hour means a drive of an hour or longer each way, and often in stop-and-go traffic.

“I’ve been traveling this way for a good 15 years,” Barbara says. “Prior to having my Super Cruise, I had all eyes, hands, everything (focused) on the road.”

Once you’re on the road, first activate Adaptive Cruise Control and then press the Super Cruise button.

When the light atop the steering wheel goes green, Super Cruise is active.

In select vehicles, you’ll find Super Cruise–compatible roads available throughout the United States and Canada.

With less stress in her commute, Barbara rolls into the office ready to go.

But the addition of Super Cruise changed things. Now, she has help keeping herself safely distanced from the car in front of her and centered in the lane. She says that makes those 60 minutes more productive for her — and less draining. That’s important for Barbara, the director of business development for 14 luxury automotive dealerships.

Super Cruise, available on a range of Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac vehicles, allows hands-free driving on compatible roads so drivers can take their hands off the wheel, even in stop-and-go traffic. There are more than 400,000 miles of compatible roads* where you can use Super Cruise, whether it’s part of your daily commute or your family’s summer road trip.

Take your road trip to the next level with these five roads that offer spectacular scenery along the way — even if you don’t have Super Cruise.

After getting on the interstate — about five minutes from home — Barbara steers her CT6 into the middle lane and turns on Super Cruise. At that point, she can start using the time in her car to get a head start on some of her work, while keeping her eyes on the road ahead.

“I really just have to hit one button every morning, and it puts the vehicle into Super Cruise mode,” Barbara says. “Using voice control features, I can answer all my emails and my text messages and handle everything I need to be handling right from the car.”

With the addition of Super Cruise to her commute, Barbara says her drive doesn’t feel like much of a commute anymore. Instead of her day starting when she walks into the office, it starts in her CT6.

“I couldn’t imagine ever living without it now,” Barbara says.
